I am writing to share the appreciation of Maryland Democratic leadership with Talbot County Democrats.
Your dedicated efforts throughout these difficult times has been nothing short of heroic. From Talbot's phonebankers leading the state by the numbers (500+ calls made last night alone!) to the poll watchers serving on the front lines of our democracy, you are the heartbeat of the Democratic Party.
My parents always made me eat my vegetables before I got dessert and I am applying the same principle here: allow me to go through some incredible numbers with you before I share the video!
We are FOUR DAYS from Election Day 2020!
For the first time, the gap between registered Republicans and Democrats has closed to under 1,000!
Routinely, over 1,000 visitors a day are visiting our website, mostly visiting our voter resource page at www.talbotdems.org/vote (thanks to your support that allows us to reach and educate voters this election cycle!)
Last night, Talbot County surpassed 50% voter turnout!
This election is far from over - we need to keep working hard and continue to get out the vote.If you have not voted yet, the lines are not long!We are doing great things and we are doing them together.
