Welcome to the Talbot County Democratic Party!

The Talbot Democratic Party is the Democratic Party of the United States at the county level. Just as at the state and national levels, the Talbot Democratic Party is lead by a Central Committee. The purpose of the Talbot County Democratic Central Committee is to be the governing body of the Democratic Party of Talbot County and to represent Talbot County as its delegation to the Maryland State Democratic Central Committee. Your ten Central Committee members are elected to four year terms in the Maryland Democratic Primary during gubernatorial election cycles. We find, train, support, and elect Democratic candidates in Talbot County, State District 37, and U.S. Congressional District-1. Most importantly, we are focused on building a strong, interconnected Democratic community in Talbot County.

Our work and efforts on the behalf of our constituents costs money. We raise funds to help organize voters and assist candidates in effectively running for office.
