Talbot on the Issues: Marijuana
The Talbot County Democratic Party is pleased to launch its newest initiative: Talbot on the Issues! As we continue to grow our community and engage on more issues, it is helpful to know where our supporters stand on a wide variety of issues. To meet this need, we are launching an informal, unscientific anonymous surveying effort to gauge Talbot’s thoughts on important matters being considered and debated in the local, state, and federal political arenas. With only about 10 questions for each survey, this is a very quick and easy way to ensure your local Party is aware of your County’s position on issues!
Launching this effort on what some would call the high holiday of April 20, we felt it appropriate to begin with marijuana policy. A controversial topic, the public’s opinion has shifted dramatically on marijuana legalization/decriminalization issues over the years. Feel free to do some individual research prior to taking our survey or simply jump right in and provide your feedback!
It should be noted that while we will review results carefully, neither the questions nor the results signify Party support or endorsement of any specific policy position. These surveys are for general informational purposes only. We will not collect any identifying information and all submissions are anonymous. You must be at least 18 to participate and a registered voter in Talbot County, MD. Please respect the integrity of this survey and answer all questions truthfully and only submit one response per individual.
Talbot Dems will leave each survey open for one full week to allow Talbot residents ample opportunity to respond. Results will be published on our website and shared on social media platforms.
