Nancy Andrew, Secretary
Nancy brings twenty years of experience in nonprofit management, community organizing, and volunteer engagement to the central committee. She previously served as the executive director for Habitat for Humanity Choptank and Talbot Mentors, helping both achieve significant organizational, financial, and programmatic growth during her tenure. She is currently working with Talbot County, Maryland. In 2020, she was recruited to serve as Recovery Coordinator, assisting with the county’s coordinated response to COVID-19 and transitioned the role of Executive Director for Talbot Family Network, the county's Local Management Board.
Nancy holds a BA degree in government and politics from the University of Maryland and a Master of Social Work completed in 2022 at Salisbury University. During her undergraduate years, she interned on Capitol Hill with Maryland Senator Paul S. Sarbanes and subsequently joined his staff as a legislative correspondent.
Born and raised in Talbot County, Nancy has been involved with various community organizations starting with 4-H through which she was named a Maryland 4-H All-Star. She is a graduate of Shore Leadership as well as a past board member and past president of the Shore Leadership Alumni Association. Presently, she is a member of the Rotary Club of Easton and serves on the Board of Directors for Talbot Mentors.
During the 2018 midterm election, she served as the Talbot County captain for Jesse Colvin for Congress during the general election.
